E2 Investor Requirements
E2 Investor Requirements
To qualify as an E2 investor, you need to meet several criteria.
The first E2 investor requirement is you must be a citizen of a country that has a treaty with the United States. The E2 investor investment in a U.S. business should be substantial and must own at least 50% of the business. You’ll also need to actively manage the business in the U.S. on a daily basis. Your investment should benefit the U.S. economy by creating jobs and returns for investors. Additionally, the E2 investor funds must be considered “at risk,” demonstrating your commitment to the success of the business venture.
