What if my country of origin is not on the E-2 Visa countries list?

You can still apply for an E-2 visa through a citizenship program.

Citizens outside of the treaty countries list are not eligible to apply for an E-2 visa, however there are options available for investors who wish to invest and build a business in the United States.

One option is obtaining citizenship in a country with an E-2 treaty with the United States. For example, citizens of Turkey and Grenada can obtain citizenship in their respective countries through investment programs that give non treaty countries citizen access to the E-2 visa program.
